Shanx - no filter used. The object on the bottom right of the picture is a tree. No way could I have avoided it. Of course cloning was always an option but the picture probably would have been untidy.

What's on the bottom right of the image? Were you using a fliter? Try and not use them while taking long exposure shots on a zoom lens - light gets distorted between the filter and the rear element within the lens.

Jay - It was not at all cloudy - clear sky with starts shining!

Jatin - The light I am guessing is getting reflected off Manas resort or Igatpuri outer since that's were the sodium vapor lights were gleaming.

Dinesh - It is because of the f1.8 I actually got a shot like this. When I tried to take a shot with f3.5, the whole image was in an undertone underexposed mode. The 4 and a half minutes shutter release was another major contributing factor.
