Sriram 309

The exact location (I think) is between Sasthankota and Perinad on the Kayankulam-Quilon section.

Sriram 309

This was shot somewhere before Quilon, and after Kottayam. There are a few more of these in the ERS-TVC stretch

Nice pic, Sriram. This is one of my most favourite train scenes- a turning train on a dual level double line. Thax for uploading this pic. Such dual levels are quite common in TN- especially on JTJ-SA-ED-CBE stretch. I believe this is between ERS-TVC? Between which 2 stations was this shot?
Do you know some more of such dual level stretches running for long distances?

If you notice, the train is entering the loop line. The point will anyway permit only a low speed of 15/20/25/30 kph.So its for the mainline you need guard rails.

Pass entering Kaveri Bridge

Another very nice shot. It must have been blisteringly hot when you went there this time.
