The paper on the loco. is some local advertisement. The decoration is probably because the loco. must have hauled some last MG service which terminated the previous day. Starting that day, the frequency of service was reduced to 1 a day, so, the train was to leave only by 5.40 PM

Lovely pic.. but have they changed the timings? This train leaves immediately for MDU. The passenger from MDU used to reach Bodi at around 5.40 pm.

This is not a DHMU rake as Abhijnan puts it. It is a Push/Pull kind of a rake with driving cabs at either ends with the Diesel Electric Loco in the middle. This arrangement was used in 1994/95 in SBC-MYS and SBC-ASK routes but was later discontinued. Dilip Setlur
