The passengers are getting off the ramp of shorter platform 2+3 and getting to platform 1. IOC's decanting sidings are on left far corner and the goods yard is on the right far corner.

The ramp of foot over bridge on right, leads into the colony. There is a railway school next to the bridge. On the left, you can see trees on the platform. The BG platform (no 4) is on that side.

Karnavati leaves Ahmedabad at 04.55 in the morning. And it is nice to see the train behind a WCAM 2. It used to be hauled by a WCAM 1 till recently. BTW, great shot. Really surprised at the clarity of the pic. Seems you were there to receive someone since you have caught Lok Shakti too...

Did your camera have the incorect time setting or were you really railfanning at 4AM in the morning? "Screwloose cameraman" as I was once referred to by some armymen...!

Is it a LDH-home WDMx/WDGx loco? Kinda saying it coz I managed to dicipher kind of a Grey'n'Red livery of LDH. Nice shot nonetheless!!!
