Harsh, this bridge will ultimately serve double line after the road-cum-rail bridge reaches end of its lifetime. Have a look at http://www.irfca.org/gallery/GeneralScenes/Godavari/newgodb4.jpg.html You will find that there is already ample space for a second line next to the present line. Only the platform needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Also there Godavari-Rajahmundry section is a double line.

I think the sign in Telugu says 'Itharulu loniki rakugadhu', meaning 'Others should not enter'.

Agreed!. That's a nice pic.. I still remember the down 6004 Mailto Hwh go slooowly over this bridge@20Kmph circa 1996, and the Corro to Mas would zip past the other road-cum-rail bridge
