Parts of the derailed crane no. 144020, based at Ernakulam Marshalling Yard can be seen here. The crane is completely damaged. Sadly, this is a brand new crane and this is it's first assignment. Underestimation of the loose sand under the rail maybe the reason behind the mishap. I couldn't get a closer look due to the RPF protecting the area (Jimmy Jose)
