Wildflower Alley
While traveling to Mumbai during the previous week, I noticed a large number of wildflowers between the Begdewadi – Ghorawadi- Talegaon stations of the Pune – Lonavala section.
Ashish and I decided to go for a closer look and were overwhelmed by what we found.
The wildflowers are of the Yellow Cosmos (Cosmos Sulphureus) genus. Why these are found here and in such dense numbers, is not clear to us. However our ignorance of the nature’s wisdom did not come in the way of enjoying the impact of the bounty, especially when it is found alongside our favourite ribbons of steel !

Excellent pics!! Definite foreign locales except for the 'steel ribbons' ... ;-)
