The BG tracks between Ahmedabad and Sabarmati operate as bi-directional single lines. You can see signals facing both ways as well as a freight heading toward ADI along with our train, while a WDG4 hauled rake is headed the other way. The MG line accompanies them on the left.

Its fun when you're on a MG rake, and a BG one crosses you....we happened to cross something like 6 freights in and out of ADI on the ADI-SBI leg.
