The story of the abandoned NG Terminus of Latur

This Marathi Newspaper article provided the history of the entire Latur area, its industries and most important of all the detailed report of the events that took place on the last day when the last train departed from this very station & the section

A closer look at the station building, if observed the wall that separated the railway premises and the road leading to the circular market took a 90 degrees right turn just prior to the buildings seen on right side, with a small gate that could be opened

Pit lines used for maintenance purposes, there were 4 freight godowns to the right side & adjacent to this line, the super speciality Government Hospital building of Latur was constructed after the freight godowns were demolished, sources say these go

An unknown lever used to switch points (Corrections welcome), there is a similar lever at the Kurduwadi Jn end. This lever must have been used for Locomotive reversal for the train arrived from Kurduwadi Jn, Latur Station also had a NG line (Only for frei
