Looking towards Ratnagiri, the portal of the 1.1 Km long Banewadi tunnel. The tunnel opens onto the Pomendi viaduct and then to another tunnel whose portal can be seen from this end. The pipe angling into the tunnel from the right carries the device to extend the ACD cover inside the tunnel. 18th April 2008.
