Bangarapet - Bangalore DMU curving into Tyakal station.

Rocky outcrops loom large over Tyakal station.

A pair of WAG5 locos from Bhilai lead a WAM4 from the same shed through Tyakal heading towards Bangarpet. The middle loco of the consist had been powered down.

Night falls over Yeshwantpur as the mighty WDP4 prepares to haul the Karnataka Sampark Kranti to Nizamuddin.

Morning sees the KSK halt at Balanagar for the crossing with the Tungabhadra Express.

The Tungabhadra roars into the station hauled by Maula Ali's WDM2 #17587.

At Budvel, we cross the oposite KSK hauled by the colorful WDP4 #20012 'Baaz'.

Unscheduled halt at Sitafalmandi outside Secundrabad.

Crossing the Wainganga river just before Balharshah.

Bhusaval's WAM4 waits at Balharshah to start with the overnight passenger train to home base. This is perhaps the southernmost destination for a passenger loco from this shed.

ZDM3 #197 has brought in an evening service to Nagpur.
