After a long walk from the Uthralikavu temple, we had to cross this small bridge made of a narrow Aracanut trunk to get to the railway tracks! Easy job for Deepu, but difficult for me (Jimmy Jose)
We now head for virgin diesel territory without wires. Netravati has changed locos at Shoranaur and Erode WDM 3D 11152 has taken over for the onward journey to LTT. (Jimmy Jose)

Beautiful shots of a beautiful line. Unfortunately, I missed all this because of night while travelling on Maveli in 2006, the last time being there.
