A mishmash of images that I've taken over the years. There is no central theme to them other than the fact they are interesting to me and that most of them capture people connected to IR in ways that range from intimate to utilitarian. Almost all of them were shot in B&W or converted to, with the original colour version now lost.

The best stations have wide platforms and giant trees that shelter. Phulera wins on all those counts and more.
Making a good cup of this is nearly impossible given the speed and fiddly nature of the tray, the temperamental nature of the flask cover and tiny amount of dairy powder. Successes must be celebrated. On the Rajdhani, approaching Secunderabad.

More metre gauge, this is Guntakal. How things have changed here! None of this remains. Not even the brilliant chicken curry and rice stall this photo makes me remember.
It looks perilous. It is. Maintaining the Pamban bridge is not a task for the weak-kneed and fainthearted.
