At Pradhankunta Jn. the 3301 leaves the Grand Chord to enter the coalfields section. The line to Sindri is unique in two ways - the trains run on wrong side, i.e. on the right side as compared to the left on the rest of the network. Even more interesting

The 3301 reverses at Paterdih Bazar. A few years ago, the train used to come here directly from Dhanbad via Jharia. Due to fires in the underground mines at Jharia, the line has been abandoned forcing the train to take this convoluted route. ()

Fantastic. The photographs not only revealed glimpses of some rarely-seen areas but also focused on the human aspect of IR. Hats off to all of you for undertaking this incredible expedition and coming back with this wonderful collection.
