This section was once the epicenter of the Meter Gauge in Bihar along with the branch lines around Narkatiaganj. The Chhapra-Gopalanj-Thawe section. Thanks to poor roads and time constraints we could only cover Thawe - Gopalganj section. This section is like a bow and is longer than the BG route to Thawe via Siwan. The location is here
This was the first time ever in our life that we had travelled the entire day and we had not captured a single train. An extremely late running passenger from Chhapra arrives with an Izzatnagar YDM4#6468 at Gopalganj through dark clouds and semaphore gant
Smoking calmly the YDM4 departs from Gopalganj engulfed by greeneries (Trayambak Ojha)
The grays of the clouds, the blacks of the LV and the whites of the semaphore gantry. The only out of place was the greenery surrounding it. (Trayambak Ojha)
Once upon a time I ruled the lands (Trayambak Ojha)
The trains makes a hasty return from Thawe Jn through the monsoon greeneries (Trayambak Ojha)
The passenger service to Chhapra from Thawe makes a hasty return back through a channel of water, due to heavy delays on a day when clouds hung low and were dark enough to rain any moment (Trayambak Ojha)
The palm trees and dual direction semaphores add charm to the rural setting where another service rushes from Chhapra to Thawe (Trayambak Ojha)
Meanwhile the passenger which was waiting for another service from Chhapra returns to base through the gantry of semaphores and we end the day here (Trayambak Ojha)
