Enchanting North East
A set of pictures from a trip made by four railfans-Avishek Basu,Francis Bosco,Harisharan GK and Sathya Narayanan T to the North East,a perfect example of heaven on earth.

Cloud 9 !!!!When we arrived at Lower Haflong it had comparatively clear sky, but within 5 mins it covered up by low flying clouds. (Avishek)
We were accompanied by a MG goods train at Lower Haflong. This goods train had twin YDM-4s. (Avishek)

The Broad Gauge viaduct. This is the under constructing BG viaduct just before Lower Haflong station. This viaduct will redirect the BG line to an upcoming station named New Haflong. (Avishek)

This is a very typical station with the track laid far down from the Station building and others. Even the Cabin crew shows signal from the top. (Bose)
When we arrived at DBRT it was cloudy dark morning with drizzling continuously. But no one can stop a railfan, Bose and Sathya were admiring the NGC WDM-3 with the LEDO Passenger. (Avishek)

Truly Enchanting NE !! Myself residing in the western part of the country, in reality this location would probably be out of my reach for me. Thanks for sharing!
