awsum rare capture of single catenary section..why is it electrified if diesel railbus is running ???????
and its a railbus WRB i guess..but fare only 2 ruppees for this 12 km ...so low..even vrindaban MG rail-bus YRB has 4 rupees for 13 km..

and Anant k Singh sir- harduaganj is border of NR-NCR..thus OHE is upto there..not beyond Harduaganj..

A similar tram type (only contact wire) section exists between harduaganj TPP and Aligarh jn. in UP. I suppose the logic behind such traction is that if the no. of trains passing per day are very limited and most of it is low speed traffic (like heavy freight), wear and tear would be much less and hence significant capital saving on OHE installation can be done while still having advantages of electric traction.
