HP 31414 at Dhundhara
Northern Railway HP 31414 was one of 10 metre gauge 4-6-2s built by Baldwin in 1948. Some time around 1977/78 it was repainted and renumbered in its old Jodphur Railway colours for an edition of the UK TV documentary show Whicker's World. The loco foreman at Jodphur kindly arranged for it to be available to work the morning train from Jodphur to Barmer on the day I rode on it - 1978.12.04
