PT 31516 at Hanumangarh PT 31516, photographed on 1978.10.14, was one of ten large metre gauge 4-6-4T tank locomotives built by Vulcan Foundry, UK and originally destined for Burma. The order was diverted to India and in 1978 the last active examples were based at Hanumangarh on the Northern Railway where they were confined to local pilot duties. On locomotive is preserved at the Delhi museum.
