YG #3438 stands awaiting repair in the main MG pit line of the shed. Most MG locos in the shed are in various stages of repair and are hardly in running condition. ()

A full three quarter view of the YG #3438. The loco, without its trademark smoke deflectors looks bereft of its gorgeous beauty. ()

YG #3415 is perhaps the best maintained MG loco in the shed. So good, that it looks ready to steam up and get going any minute. No wonder it's called 'Rewari Queen' ()

A YG too lies rotting in the backyard. This is loco #3724. Look at the condition of the driving cab.

The wheel set and connector rods have been removed and the shell is an advanced state of decay.

The loco looks forlornly as it's parts are cannibalized to keep some of its brethren going.

The BG section features WL #15005 which was involved an unfortunate accident some time ago. The loco suffered some burst boiler tubes. The entire boiler is now stripped and the tubes stacked neatly next to it.

AWE #22907 proudly bears the 'Palace on Wheels' name plate. The loco had recently returned from Patiala after being involved in the filming of the Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'.

XE #3634 bears the name Pawan Doot. The loco is currently not in running condition, awaiting some spare parts.

Rewari is no more the MG mecca that used to be. The station is now fully converted to BG and this is all that remains of the MG platforms.

Very nice Shanx. So good to see impressive locos of the Golden Era rather than the current engines.
