CWD class 2-8-2 No. 5107 seen at Karachi in 1947. It was built by Canadian Locomotive Company at Kingston, Ontario. 5107 was amongst the first batch of 28 broad gauge war department locomotives built. It is still a coal burner when photographed but all steam locomotives in Pakistan were converted to oil firing shortly after independence. (H. Vickens)
