The ladies' saris add a touch of colour to this very drab scene at Tinsukia Junction as they pass a group of YP class Pacifics and YG class Mikados. There are fourteen engines there which have been abandoned since the lines in the east of Assam were converted to broad gauge in the late 1990's and are now very in a very forlorn state. The nearest engine on its side is YP #2159 with YG #4079 beyond. Tinsukia Jn., 2004-03-22. By James Waite.
