The only two survivors of their class, YP 5000 and 5010 have been salvaged for static preservation. Seen at C&W Works Izzatnagar, Bareilly in 1997.

I photographed YL 5010 working an Express from Varanasi in 1980. The loco then had deflectors and decorations.
