A wonderful location on the KSR. Here KC#520 ( NB 1905) is crossing a mult tiered bridge with a special train. The KSR locos were not turned: they ran bunker first downhill. Also of interest is the trailing car: the " Shivalik Palace" which is a

ZF 78, a 2-6-2 tank locomotive is ready to depart Simla with a down train in 1947. It was built by Henschel in 1935 and was fitted with Caprotti valve gear. (H. Vickens)
