NG steam engeine B 802 is ready to leave Siliguri station on its way up to Darjeeling 1994-10-18 with 1D Pass. On the other side of the train lies Siliguri metre gauge yard.
In Tindharia we saw B 805 with another train, it was Pass3D also on its way to Darjeeling 1994-10-18.
Here is our train stopping on its way to give the crew and engine a little rest on its hard work up the mountain to Darjeeling 1994-10-18.

A two wagon freight train on the DHR in 1980. Were there any public freight services by this time or would it be an internal service -spares or stores?
