@Harsh Vardhan agreed you share a very deep passion for history, but lets face it, that after the exit of the Britishers, no such structure to the magnitude of this magnificence has been built by any governing Indian body on Indian soil by Indian labour...

Could you please clarify how this was a gift to Indians by Britishers? This was built on Indian soil by Indian labour using Indian exchequer. This is a small gift for the 200 years of imperialism that was imposed on us.

Completed and opened in 1888, that makes it only 124 years old. But even after the sex change operation in 1996, it still manages to inspire awe.
