Vijapur is on an MG branch line forming an inverted V shape between Ambliyasan and Kalol (Ahmedabad - Mahesana section). Even though it looks as though there may be a reversal here, in reality there is no reversal. Now 2 Railbuses as the one shown above cover this route. The section from Adraj Moti to Kalol has been converted to BG and forms part of the Gandhinagar - Kalol route (taken by the DEE Garib Rath).
