Pune diesel shed
A row of rebuilt generators - the green ones are dynamos (DC generators) while the black ones are alternators (AC generators)
The round hole in the radiator room (from this side) houses the rear traction motor (RTTM) blower. You can also see the fuel lifting pump (the horizontal cylindrical object near the frame before the radiator room)
The bulge is found only on locos with the GE turbo which displaces the aftercooler. The displaced aftercooler moves the centrifugal oil filer to this position.
The centrifugal oil filter is one of the reasons that have extended the service period of the loco from 10 days to 15 days.
Steel-capped and Al pistons of the WDM-2 locos. Piston rings can also be seen.
Dynamic brake grids (the bars inside the short hood) and the dynamic brake blower (the rotary bladed machine at the bottom)
Different turbochargers - the one in the front is an Alco item, while the rear is a GE.
