WCAM-3 and WCAG-1 series

Kalyan WCAM3 #21886 pulling into Thane with the 2139 Dadar - Nagpur Sewagram express in tow. The rains was too heavy that the loco pilot had to keep the headlight on along with the continuous horn!

Kalyan WCAG1 #21977 rushes towards Karjat with a long BCNA rake. I was standing at a Level crossing and the loco pilot was continously honking to ensure that i do not jump in front of the loco at the last moment!

Loco with a crown? WCAG1 #21970 from Kalyan dozing off at the Loco siding in Panvel.

WCAG1 #21970 from Kalyan crawls into Panvel. The loco was hauling a long rake of "Flat cars". Each wagon had 7 Tractors loaded on to them. Each wagon also had 1-2 men sitting on those tractors. I had seen the very same loco yesterday at Panvel.

Surprise!!! Pune-Mumbai Pragati "Superfast" pulls in with a WCAM3 (#21959)!!! This train (the opposite one; Mumbai-Pune) used to get WCG2s atleast until a week back! I have been spotting this train with WCAM3s since the past 4 days!

KYN WCAG1 #21980 goes light towards Karjat. The Speed Sensing Device (SSD) installed on the UP line(going via Nagnath) allowed it go without taking a brake testing halt at Monkey Hill, since it was running at a speed less than 25Kmph.

KYN WCAM3 #21961 starts with the 12 coach 2126 Pune-Mumbai Pragati Express on the UP/MID line after the mandatory brake testing halt at Monkey Hill.

WCAG1 #21978 enters Kurla sidings with a BCNA rake. Look at the people crossing the loco at close quarters....Wait! Do not worry, the beast was stationary and was waiting for a signal to enter the yard!

WCAG1 #21974 pulls into Panvel with a Container train coming from JNPT

A few seconds before Binai's pic. WCAG1 21974 enters Panvel from JNPT. The rake has to cut across the mainlines to enter platform 2. A couple of youngsters on a bicycle watch as the rake approaches. On the LC, other bicyclists wait for the crossing.
