In terms of Achieveing,From IRFCA Mailing List someone has experienced Patna Rajdhani which has MPS of 130 kmph achieving 142 kmph speed.Don't know how he calculated speed but its possible to take out the speed of a train.Raj's achieve speed...

In terms of Achieveing,From IRFCA Mailing List someone has experienced Patna Rajdhani which has MPS of 130 kmph achieving 142 kmph speed.Don't know how he calculated speed but its possible to take out the speed of a train.Raj's achieve speed irrespective of their Maximum Permissible Speed.

Deepak,how can our dear Rajdhanis travel at 140 Kmph???The number of Manned & Unmanned LCs,Cattle,Rail Rokos,Careless jaywalkers etc , make it difficult for these trains to achieve this speed especially for cult trains like the Legendary Howrah Rajdhani Express.FOG is another major factor for these trains in winters as they are of Northern Routes.
