The nameplate on the Main Traction Convertor of a WAG9 Loco.The fact that it is manufactured by BHEL implies that there is now indigenous capability for this critical component.Maybe BHEL should be given contracts for manufacturing the whole locomotive instead of supplying only the parts for it.This should aid in overcoming the shortage of these locos.Also note that the same convertor can be used on the WAP5 loco also.
