WAG-6 Series Electrics
Visakapatnam (VSKP) based WAG-6A, WAG-6B and WAG-6C series of locomotives used exclusively on the Kirandul-Kottavalasa line.

WAG-6A locos #26003 and #26004 are waiting for their POH. Also seen is a defunct TATA WAG-1, attached to a VSKP WAG-5. These locos were assembled here to add a dose of neatness at the loco shed. Also seen is the staff canteen in the background. Electric L
WAG-6As #26003 and #26004 are going to be condemned and they will be cannibalized for spare parts to run the other 4 locos of the same class. The two locos are awaiting for their final rites. Electric Loco Shed, Visakhapatnam.

WAG-6B #26015 was freshly painted and it had a missing middle bogie. It was undergoing an overhaul. One can just about see WAG-6B #26013 near the top right-hand corner. It had all the bogies detached and only the shell was standing. Also seen are VSKP WAG
Later on the day, WAG-6B #26011 was shifted to another location in the electric loco shed to carry out some major repair. Electric Loco Shed, Visakhapatnam.

WAG6-C twins wait in the Dumuriput yard with a rake of rarely seen BTSC class Caustic Soda tankers. The rake was most likely coming out from the NALCO plant at Damanjodi.
