Here today, gone tomorrow. A solitary YDM 4 waits at Kollam Jn. Probably it brought in Tirunelveli-Kollam Ex, the rake of which is on the right. The MG rake is completely blue (sob!) except for the lone maroon coach

Ponmalai YDM4 6399 heading fast passenger towards Madurai, Samyanallur

Our train to Palani was headed by Ponmalai YDM4 6724 waiting for crossing at Chatrappatti. Note absence of loco shed insignia.
