Surprise!!! The enormous train is banked by twin bankers. WDM 2 16479 from Erode and WDS 6 36015 from Ernakulam. This really popped my eyes out. I have never seen WDS 6 + WDM 2 twins acting as twin bankers. Is this common? Both the locos had pilots and they say that the wheel slippage was too much with a single WDM 2 banker and WDS 6 was brought in as additional support to the locos. Whatever be it, this is a very very rare sight indeed
