@Shanx.. I kept a larger aperture to have a quick shot (thanks to the RPF scare). The light on the left was a high power Halide Lamp. I had a UV filter on.

My fave loco and liveries too. On the other hand, flare from the light sources can be avoided by using a smaller aperture. I would personally take such images at f/25 or even smaller. Also, were you using a filter? Distance between the lens glass and...
