Ernakulam loco #16885. was one of the last WDM-2s ever to be built, sometime in 1996 1998. While I was watching this loco at Ernakulam, it reversed twice and then soon took over the Ernakulam - Trivandrum Jan Shatabdi exp. Ernakulam Jn., 2004-02-13. By Jimmy Jose.

16885 was built in October,1998, not 1996. And it is not the last one. Two more WDM-2 locos rolled out after this one. The last one is 16887, now at NER/Gonda shed.
