This was taken at Birur Jn on the SBC-UBL section of SWR. This WDG4 was to take charge of a Box N rake (obscured by the Shimoga Town - Bangalore passr seen in the pic). The caboose for that rake is seen in the pic. The passr itself was awaiting the arrival of the UBL-SBC passr with which it got coupled for the onward journey to SBC.
