The loco behind this one also a NTPC WDG3a. The blue rake I clicked was at Akaltara, which is about 30 minutes away from Bilaspur towards Champa. Akaltara has a branch line marked as 'private siding' which leads to a industrial unit. No idea if this ...

Are these locos used only for shunting in the vicinity of NTPC plants or do they venture out to IR territory? There seems to be another loco behind this one. Any idea whether it is an NTPC WDG 3A?
