Joy of watching twin diesel action. Southern Railway's only regularly twin diesel hauled train. And one of the only two regularly twin diesel hauled train... The Hubli-Kochoveli "regular" special is always hauled by twin diesels. Reason - extra freight power is always used for this train ()

Thanks Jimmy for the revert. Looking at this picture, also makes me remember the days the 6529/6530 Udyan Express used to be hauled by twin Gooty WDG3A's. It was a sight to watch. Now a single WDP4 takes charge of it up and down.

Dear Arzan, both locos were running. I have another pic with the heat distortion. The WDG 3a's never smoke like WDM 2's :-( The train ran almost continuously last year, but this year it did not run for many months

Nice catch Jimmy. Were both diesels running live? Wish they would smoke while capturing the snap.

On 16.10.08 KCVL-UBL was hauled by single GY WDG-3A, spotted at TCR
