Apu sir, you are right. This looks like a proper high level platform where one can directly get into the coach without requiring to "climb" any steps. There are/were "high level" platforms at Dabhoi but they were of medium height as far as I remember...

Bharat - I was told by the station master of Chhindwara about the special platform. Maybe he was not aware of the NG elsewhere, maybe this is the tallest 'high level' platform while others are somewhat below this...

@Apurva - not entirely true. I know a few others that did/do - Dabhoi and Pratapnagar to name a few.
