Daund shed provided most of the motive power in the area in those days with its holding of 90+ WP and WG locomotives. This however is a WG class locomotive of Central Railway hauling a goods train and probably headed towards Manmad.

Apurva is right - this train is headed towards Pune. I assumed from the barrenness (see next picture) that the train is headed away from Pune City!

This is the view north out of the BFL plot, hence this train is facing west, i.e. towards Pune.
