These are a 3rd class local ticket from Alutgama to Bentota (1 km) for Rs 2 (INR 1.10 at that time) and a 2nd class express ticket from Galle to Bentota (53 km) for Rs 30 (INR 16.50). Forgot to mention that the latter ticket was for the Matara-Trincomalee express which seems to have the longest run of any Sri Lankan passenger service. The trip takes about 16 hours.
