To mark the closure on 14-10-08 for gauge conversion of the last remaining NG section of the former Barsi Light Railway.
This is a small frame holding three tickets. The frame is engraved 'Pandharpue Miraj Extension opened 3-11-27.
The tickets are shown to the right all are from Pandharpur to Miraj. The 2nd and 3rd class are printed and numbered 0000, the 1st class has the destination handwritten - perhaps they didn't have printed 1st class available at the time. (David Churchill)

Solid gold!!! Are these tickets in your possession or are they displayed somewhere? It is quite possible that these might be the first ever tickets issued on the line.

I'm no expert on tickets but is there any possibility that, being numbered 0000, these might be the first tickets issued on the new line? There is no date stamp actually on the tickets.
