The flags are exchanged by the assistant loco pilot of the Jhelum express and the assistant loco pilot of the Paschim express. Jhelum was hauled by GZB WAP 4 #22692 (it also had 6 AC coaches) and the Paschim express was hauled by GZB WAP #22700.

Due to megablock between Dombivili and Kalyan, all out station trains were running late by almost 2 hours. I was in Deccan express, on my way to Monkey Hill but the train took over 2 hours to reach Kalyan from Dombivili. So, I had to cancel the trip :( De
This somewhat explains the layout of Mysore. The MYS-Arsikere passenger on the left will take a leftward curve now while the SBC-MYS special comes from a straight line in the right.
