There will be no reversal at Kurduwadi for trains to Solapur.

Secondly it will pass through Pandharpur which is an hour and half bus trip from SUR, then veer away to Kuruduwadi, reverse and go to SUR another 86 km away.
So I guess that most people will disembark at Pandharpur.

Aseem, Gauge conversion is ready and passenger services may begin any time soon. This will provide a shorter link between two major cities in southern Maharashtra, Kolhapur and Solapur.
