On arrival at the Ghorpadi Yard Pune, this train would reverse and switch to the Daund line to reach Loni Petrol terminus. Hence it makes sense to use a brake van as a 'support wagon.'

Nice one...I suppose the caboose protects the BTPN from the heat of the engine and the exhaust...most of the BTPN trains I've seen have either a caboose or a BCNA wagon between the loco and the leading BTPN wagon...
