The Karnataka Sampark Kranti occupies 4 lines crossing the Malkajgiri station. This is the bypass line or the "Secundrabad-Avoid-Line" where this train is sent at painfully slow 20 - 30 kmph from Kachguda-Lalaguda Gate-Malkajgiri-Moula Ali route towards Kazipet. Its only after joining back the main line at Moula Ali that the train picks up some speed. (Vivek Mathur)
