You see photographs of gang men walking nonchalantly on Pamban bridge over the sea and yearn to do the same and suddenly, you get a chance to do it. Just a dream? It was a dream come true when I got a chance to join an IITM Prof. for testing the bridge. It will be at least another 100 years before another such chance will come for observation of the bridge at close quarters (unless you work for the railways). It was an absolutely great experience for which I do not have words.
