Alco built class ALP14 Locomotive working train on Bolan section of Quetta Division. No. 2009 was amongst the first batch of diesel locomotives bought by PR in 1951. These had A1A-A1A wheel arrangement though later examples of this class were Co-Co. With one locomotive in the lead and another pushing from behind, they used to haul trains on up to 1 in 25 gradients of Bolan Pass. (Farrukh Khan)
