Now CR's retrofitted ACDC EMU 3009-3007 runs towards Andheri on the DN HB line at VileParle (Vijay Aravamudhan)
Churchgate - Andheri Shuttle powered by Vatva WDG3 13545 at Andheri END and VATVA WDG3 15515 at CHURCHGATE END, and conventional M/E coaches in the mid. Note the crowd footplating on the side of the loco. (Vijay Aravamudhan)
And Power on all lines from the NZ at VileParle till Churchgate has been shut down and OHE Van Garuda is seen on the UP Slow line, speeding towards CCG (Vijay Aravamudhan)
VATVA WDM3 18627 Hauls the UP Kutch Exp to its destination on 6th line, at VileParle (Vijay Aravamudhan)
GOC WDP3 15524 Hauls the UP Ranakpur Exp to its destination on 7th line at VileParle (Vijay Aravamudhan)

The first departure under AC traction from BCT was 12951 Mumbai Rajdhani Express headed by WCAM-2P #21877. As usual, the "coupling ceremony" attracts a crowd! (Vivek Manvi)

Totally agree with Sachin and Akshay. Indeed it feels so weird; until the day of conversion it was WCAMx with all our fav trains. And suddenly, very next day entire landscape has changed. Feels I'm away from home..
Now, even ADI bound...

Agree with you Sachin. The WCAM-1s and 2s will be sorely missed. I have mixed feelings regarding these AC locos. After being used to seeing these workhorses (WCAMx) for my entire life, it feels extremely weird to suddenly see the WAPs in Mumbai. Somehow...
